Youth resilience and safety starts at home.

 

We are inviting youth and their parents/caregivers to engage in a conversation about safety and resiliency while growing up in New Westminster. 

 

Join us for a Family Design lab where community members can come together to design local solutions and actions for change.  For youth to thrive, they need to feel the support of their families and their community. 

 

Too often, plans and programs for youth are developed for them and not with them. The City of New Westminster wants to create a strategy that reflects what is important to youth and their families. 

 

Doors open at 5:30pm for refreshments and networking at the new təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre in Multipurpose Room 2 on June 3, or Queensborough Community Centre on June 4.

 

This workshop will be fully participatory - so please come ready to contribute and engage.
