With concerns about youth gang-associated activity in the community, how can parents / caregivers keep up with the ever-changing gang landscape?  
 
Join the City of New Westminster, New Westminster Schools, and Safer Schools Together (SST)'s Gang Reduction through Informed Practice (GRIP) as they host a complimentary Parents & Caregivers workshop, Youth Gang-Associated Behaviour: Ensuring Your Child's Safety. Parents & Caregivers will gain a deeper understanding of how youth become involved in gang-associated behaviour and strategies to navigate these complex situations. 
 
Discussion topics include:
• Understanding current and local gang-related activity
• Identifying early risk factors
• Awareness and education on social media / substance use trends
• Importance of accessing community-based supports
• Parent Resources & Guides
• Live Q+A
